Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why God's Way?
This is the first question I was asked as it
appeared that I was deliberately excluding those with a different belief
system from the program. This is not the reason. Just as I would never
dream of excluding anyone (friends, family, colleagues, customers, etc.)
from my life because we don't share the same beliefs, I will never
exclude anyone from this program.
When we did our research for the program (which
included a health strategies survey of my newsletter readers) we
discovered that there were a lot of people who shared our desire to
learn more about what the Bible says regarding health and wellness.
Some respondents also shared our frustration with
the lack of learning material that could help clarify health and
wellness from a Christian perspective. Sure, there are a few brilliant
books on the subject, but the majority of the material out there, either
ignores Scripture, or are written from the perspective of other belief
systems.
The real reason then is that it is my belief that
from our Christian perspective the only way to better health is to be
aware of our dependency on our Creator, to make wise choices that do not
go against Scripture and to apply our talents and gifts to the service
of others.
It therefore is not merely a quest to become as
healthy a worker in His Kingdom as I can possibly be, it is also a quest
to discover God's way and God's purpose for my life and to fulfill that.
And that I believe is a quest that is close to the heart of any of His
children.
2. Does my
membership include personal coaching?
Unfortunately, the answer is "no". While I will
always be available to handle support requests (I.E. I can't download
this week's workbook) and to clear up issues with the
learning material, I simply don't have the time to personally
coach members. Even if every member just asked
ONE coaching question (even a simple question)
it would be impossible to handle all of the requests.
3. Do I have to
commit to the entire 6 months?
Of course not. While I don't think you'll want to
do so, you may cancel anytime you want. You may
cancel at any time during the first two months of training and get a
refund. Just email me for a prompt and
courteous cancellation. Like I said, I don't think you'll want to do so
after diving into the self-coaching!
4. On what day of
the week will I receive my weekly emails?
There isn't a set "day" of the week when
workbooks
will arrive to your inbox. The autoresponder is setup to send out your
workbook approximately every 7 days (sometimes
there is a 24-48 hour difference in delivery, but you'll always receive
a workbook each week).
5.
What will happen if I don't have time to get to a weeks workbook?
Workbooks are standalone,
which means that you can safely skip a workbook without missing out on
the thread of the training. Just download the workbook and carrying on
from the current week. Then you can always come back to those you
skipped when it is convenient. Even if it is after your membership has
expired.
6.
How much time do I need each week?
This will depend on how
in-depth you would like to go into the quest. Also, some workbooks will
take longer than others. Previous participants took between 20 and 60 minutes a day, about 5 days a week. So if you can
commit to between 2 and 5 hours per week you'd do just fine.
